I had a chance to interview American Idol winner, Fantasia during her album release party for The Side Effects Of You at XL Nightclub in NYC. She was overwhelmed by all the love in the room as she got serenaded by R&B greats like Joe, Kenny Latimore, Monifah and more. Fantasia took to the stage for an impromptu performance of her hit song “Lose To Win” that did not leave a dry eye in the room!!! I had a chance to attend Chaka Khans star-studded 60th birthday party last night at EVR in NYC. 4UMF / JustTheFab had a chance to catch up with Lil Kim’s protege Tiffany Foxx for an exclusive interview. Foxx dishes on how she met Kim, and how the ‘Jay-Z‘ collaboration came together.
“Lil Kim said she wanted to get on the ‘Jay-Z’ joint. In my mind I’m like ‘Yea, right.’ she was a woman of her word, she got on it and then she got on another one. She is the sweetest person that I ever met. She’s sweeter than my grandmother and has embraced me as her little sister.” Fox also gives her opinion on the Lil Kim/Nicki Minaj beef. “Kim is not on that type of time. Of course she felt a way before but Kim is a definitely businesswoman now and she’s getting to the money. I’ve never met nicki and i dont have a personal beef towards her because she never attacked me but I will say I don’t have a problem having a problem.”
